In a endless sea of designer handbags that I "need", I think the cheap and cheerful approach is often times a necessity in getting everything we want without exceeding our means. There are some luxury items we want but are sometimes not worth the investment. Some may not agree but I think there is value in evaluating what to splurge on and what to save on. And by no coincidence, the majority of the items we lust after often do come at a more reasonable price AND are difficult to even tell the difference between the splurge or save items.
So, here are a few items I have come across lately that I needed to share with all of you and hopefully this will inspire you to sometimes dig for "plated gold".
