I wanted to give a little Insight into my favorite look of NYFW because I am legit obsessed.

Let’s start with the piece which I acknowledge I have had on repeat this winter but for very good reason: my pink Lookast wool coat. It is everything you could want it in a coat and more, i.e. chic, warm, versatile and stunning. And although a pink coat in theory sounds scary, it is every bit as neutral as a beige coat, but IMO it just gives and does more.

Underneath, I am wearing this Fall floral Malene Birger dress which is insanely cool, especially the cuff details. I wore in atop of a pair of skinny black jeans, which not only worked for functionality (it was cold) but it also edged up the entire look, which could of come off as too feminine with the pink coat and burgundy bag. I love walking that fine line of pretty and cool.

Next, this bag… oh, how I adore my new Fendi Back to School Backpack. The 2 tone fuchsia, burgundy played off the pink coat to perfection and those pearls, brought out the white floral in the dress. This bag can do no wrong.

I paired the look back to my favorite black pumps from L’Intervalle, which again straddles that line between sexy and chic and really tied the outfit in a neat little bow without being a distraction from all the goodness happening. And I was wearing my favorite flat mirrored aviators from Shop Style Society which tied in with the cuff detail and handbag hardware, without being matchy matchy.

I mean, I think it is pretty clear from my confidence in these photos that I was feeling this look to the max and I hope this post has inspired you guys to get out your comfort zone once in awhile (i.e. by the way of a pink coat or a dress over jeans) and put together looks that look awesome and make you feel even better.
